COVID UPDATES FOR TRAINING AND GAMES
Due to the changing environment and to ensure the maximum protection of all participants, Sutherland Sharks FC has implemented several safety measures to align with Football NSW recommendations we have received. These measures apply for Seymour Shaw:
As recommended by Football NSW there will be QR code system in place as a condition of entry. This means parents or officials coming into Seymour Shaw will be required to scan their smartphone (open your camera) to a barcode to be allowed entry into Seymour Shaw. The barcode will be at the entry point of Seymour Shaw. If the phone is not an option you can sign in manually at the canteen.
This information in confirms your attendance at Seymour Shaw at a specified date and time and is retained by secure servers of Football NSW to ensure contact tracing can occur if required.
There will be a strict 1 player x 1 parent entry allowed to Seymour Shaw. No siblings or grandparents. There will be a club official at the entry gate with a match list to mark off entry for 1 parent. Please do not make the journey to Seymour to be turned away at the gate – there will be no exceptions.
Training will still proceed with no spectators in attendance for SAP, YOUTH and SENORS.
In addition, to ensure we spread the load of players and parents being within Seymour Shaw, a player and parent will only be allowed entry 1 hour (1.15 hour for U18s) prior to the start of their game. The means entry will only be allowed to BOTH player and parent as follows:
U13 player/parent entry from 7.30am
U14 player/parent entry from 8.55am
U15 player/parent entry from 10.15am
U16 player/parent entry from 11.50am
U18 player/parent entry from 1.45pm.
SAP - Times as directed by coaches and managers
We will have someone with the match sheet list, so if you arrive before your time, there will be no entry permitted until the above times - no exceptions.
Please read the link and if you have identified as being at any of these places, particularly in the south west region, or display symptoms, then you are not permitted entry to Seymour Shaw. https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates
The club will be providing hand sanitisers at entry and around the venue and we encourage everyone to make use of them.
The change rooms will be available for teams and is optional to use, but we suggest you may want to get as much dressed as possible at home to reduce time spent in the change rooms. Please refer to your team manager or coach for further information.
Finally, and importantly to ensure we maintain a consistent flow of people throughout the day - a player and parent are to leave the ground immediately when the match they're involved with ends. No staying behind to watch the next match unless the player is on the bench for the next match.
Apologies in advance that we are unable to accommodate everyone. Football NSW has made a number of recommendations overnight due to the changing environment. We ask all player and parents to respect and abide to the above rules which has been adopted with the best interest of maximising protection for everyone.
Thank you for your co-operation.
