Former Socceroo Paul Reid Appointed Head of Youth Football

We are excited to announce that Paul Reid has been appointed Head of Youth Football.

Paul is a former Socceroo and has a wealth of playing and coaching experience both domestically and internationally from grassroots to the professional level. Having been a professional player for 16 years in Australia and England, Paul knows the high standards, winning mentality and work ethic that youth players need to maintain and strive for to develop as a footballer and fulfil their dreams.

Paul has always had a passion for youth development and since retiring as a professional player, he started his coaching journey. This culminated in being appointed Assistant Coach for the Sydney FC A-League men’s team from 2019-2023 who were Premiers and Champions in 2020. We couldn’t be happier to have him on board to lead our Youth Football Program into the future.

Paul's dedication to youth development has been unwavering. Since hanging up his boots as a professional player, he embarked on a coaching journey that saw him rise to the role of Assistant Coach for the Sydney FC A-League men’s team from 2019 to 2023, during which they were crowned Premiers and Champions in 2020.

We are absolutely delighted to have Paul join us and lead our Youth Football Program into a bright and promising future. His passion, expertise, and commitment will undoubtedly inspire our young athletes and elevate our program to new heights. Welcome aboard, Paul!
