Countdown to Kick-off: New Pitch and Facilities Just Weeks Away

We’re excited to update everyone on the progress of our pitch replacement project at Seymour Shaw. If everything goes according to plan—and the weather cooperates—we’re aiming to return home in the second week of April! The committee and entire Sharks team want to sincerely thank all players, families, and supporters for their patience over the last six weeks. We can assure everyone it will be worth the wait.

Mark your calendars—here’s our current plan:

• Youth will christen our new pitch against Mounties Wanderers on 12 April.

• First Grade will face local rivals St George FA on 19 April.

• JDL will have their first home game against Wollongong Wolves on 3 May.

As soon as the pitch is officially complete, we’ll let everyone know immediately so training can recommence without delay. Updates will be shared promptly via email and socials as soon as the return date is confirmed.

The new drainage cell, shock pad and synthetic installation is progressing well. Lots of other exciting facility upgrades happening in the background.

It’s not just the state-of-the-art synthetic playing surface we’re excited about. When you return, you’ll discover some amazing new facilities at Seymour Shaw. We’ll be sharing more details to get everyone excited over the next few weeks ahead of our official return.
